Organ meats are nature's most potent superfood.
Take red meat for example... It gets all the glory for being a good source of iron, B-Vitamins, and minerals. But beef liver contains nearly 100X more B12 than red meat. And it has higher concentrations of minerals like phosphorous, magnesium, potassium, and copper.
Organ meats like liver, kidney, and heart are generally between 10 and 100X higher in nutrients than their meat counterparts!
This is why many of our ancestors preferred organs over muscles. Organ meats are nature's most potent superfood.2
Anthropologists estimate that modern humans have their origins between 400,000 and 700,000 years ago.
The first 300,000 years were spent following a traditional hunter-gatherer lifestyle. Then, agricultural innovation took hold for the next 14,000 years. This provided more stability to the human diet, including more grains and plant crops.
It's only in the past 100-200 years that we've completely disconnected from these systems. In the name of convenience, we outsource our food production and selection to grocery stores.
The bottom line is this: we subsisted on a hunter-gatherer and earth-grown crop diet for 99.95% of our history. This way of eating involved using all possible parts of animals (and plants) as food, medicines, or tools... With practically zero waste.
Our ancestors ate virtually all the organs in each animal hunted. They made broth and soups from cooking bones and connective tissue over a fire.
This provides a meaningful "historical lens" for viewing human health and dietary needs.
For example, Indigenous North Americans (Canadian Rockies region) lived mainly off of wild caribou and moose. They learned that organ meats provided better sustenance, energy, and nutrient density. And that it even had immune-boosting properties that helped prevent illness.
They were also known for feeding muscle meats to their dogs while saving the wild liver, heart, kidney, and other organ meats for themselves.
And traditional Inuit people (arctic regions of Alaska, Canada) fed primarily on fish and high-fat sea mammals like whales, walruses, and seals. They preferred the fat, organs, and connective tissue over meats for their higher caloric & nutrient densities.4, 7
They learned this through thousands of years of tradition... The knowledge passed down from generation to generation. Today, we have a better scientific understanding of the nutritional power of organ meats.
We know that kidney is rich in selenium, proteins, and omega-3 fatty acids...
That liver is rich in B-Vitamins and minerals... And that bone broths contain gelatin, collagen, and hyaluronic acid... All of which help build strong, pain-free joints. But even with this knowledge, our consumption of organ meats has been reduced to near-zero.
We're missing out.
Our joints, energy levels, immune system, and organ systems are NOT what they could be.
This is why we created Organ Therapy™.
PLUS organic bone broth concentrate for added joint and immune support, and BioPerine® for improved absorption.
Combining grass-fed and freeze-dried liver, heart, kidney, and bone broth concentrate PLUS BioPerine® for superior absorption...
Organ Therapy gives you the primal nutrition that our modern diets have neglected.
The nutrients found in Organ Therapy can help support total-body health:*
And the ingredients in Organ Therapy are potent sources of nutrients that help optimize nearly every bodily function, including:*
A common objection to consuming liver or liver supplements (or any organ meats) is that they accumulate toxins. But that's NOT the whole story...
While it's true that the liver's role in the body is to neutralize and remove toxins from the body, those toxins are not stored there.
These toxins are excreted. Or, if the body is unable to eliminate them, they often end up stored in fatty tissues. The liver does, however, store several important nutrients. These include vitamin D, B-vitamins, and several minerals.
Even though the liver and other organs aren't designed to store toxins, the source is important.
Commercially raised cattle are fed low-quality, high-calorie diets of corn, grains, and other genetically modified plants (GMOs). This reduces the time it takes to raise and sell them.
They're also pumped full of artificial hormones, antibiotics, and other medicines. These drugs and hormones do stay in the animal. A more well-known example is the case of rBGH (Recombinant Bovine Hormone) showing up in cow's milk.
These ingredients come from cows born and raised in Argentina. Feedlots are uncommon there. The standard practice is to let cattle roam and graze on grasslands. The way they're supposed to.
All of our organ-derived ingredients are inspected by a SENASA (the Argentine equivalent of the USDA) licensed veterinarian and found fit for human consumption.
And the extracts are imported into the U.S. ONLY under government-approved USDA APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) Import Permits.
In other words, with Organ Therapy, you never have to wonder what you're really getting.
The organic bone broth concentrate in Organ Therapy is made from slow-cooking edible beef bones with adhering meat. This provides more nutrients and enzymes than would be present in regular bone broth alone. It's certified USDA Organic, grass-fed, and freeze-dried.
While high-temperature cooking denatures proteins and important nutrients... the more expensive slow-cooking and freeze-drying process is safer, cleaner, and helps preserve nutrients that would otherwise be damaged or lost.
As you can see, quality is important to us. We took ZERO shortcuts with Organ Therapy. It's why we believe it's the absolute best organ supplement available.
And we don't want anything in it to go to waste. So we included 2.5 mg of BioPerine® Black Pepper extract.
It improves nutrient absorption by stimulating the stomach to produce more hydrochloric acid. (That's why they say adding a bit of pepper to food can help you digest it faster.)
Except this isn't your average pepper. BioPerine® is a patented extract from black pepper fruits (Piper nigrum) standardized to a minimum of 95% Piperine. In general studies, BioPerine® was found to enhance the absorption of most nutrients by at least 30%.8
Bones, ligaments, and attached muscles are rich in collagen, gelatin, and minerals like magnesium. These nutrients aid in the regeneration of joint cartilage and stimulate the body’s natural mechanisms for maintaining joint health and mobility. Bone broth also supports immune function as well as gut and skin health.
Beef liver is rich in B-vitamins and vitamin A. It’s also packed with folic acid, iron, zinc, copper, and choline. One of the primary functions of the liver is to clean and detoxify the blood. These toxins are NOT stored in the liver… But vitamins, minerals, proteins, and healthy fats are. This makes it one of nature’s most potent superfoods for energy and immune support.
Beef heart is rich in Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), an enzyme and antioxidant that serves as a critical energy source for cells. Studies show natural CoQ10 production decreases with age. That makes it an important nutrient for energy production, as well as cardiovascular health. Beef heart also contains proline and glycine. These amino acids are crucial for cellular detoxification.
Beef kidney is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are important for maintaining healthy inflammation levels. It’s also a great source of B-vitamins and minerals. This includes selenium, which acts as an antioxidant and bolsters the immune system.
BioPerine® is a patented extract from black pepper fruits (Piper nigrum). It's standardized to a minimum of 95% Piperine. In general studies, BioPerine® has been shown to enhance the absorption of most nutrients by at least 30%.8

Q: Is Organ Therapy™ certified organic by the USDA? Are the ingredients from grass-fed sources?
Regarding "grass=fed," this is more of a marketing term than a serious regulatory product attribute.
Many companies know this. And they exploit it.
However, we work directly with our source in Argentina to ensure that the cows are fed ONLY with natural grass and not finished on grain, corn, or any other synthetic feed. We obtained a signed certificate from the Director of Regulatory Affairs, stating in no uncertain terms that the "cattle are free-range and fed only with natural grass."
Finally, because the organ extracts come from Argentina, we obtained certificates from SENASA (the Argentine equivalent of USDA) guaranteeing that all animals received an examination by licensed SENASA veterinarians to ensure health and suitability for human consumption.
Further, Argentina is classified as Geographical BSE Risk (GBR) 1 by the European Scientific Steering Committee (SSC). This means ingredients sourced from the country are among the cleanest and purest in the world.
There is one United States-sourced ingredient that is certified USDA organic. Our beef bone broth concentrate is a USDA Organic and grass-fed product derived from cooking edible beef bones with adhering meat.
Lastly, the final processing takes place at an FDA-inspected and USDA-compliant facility.
Q: Can you provide nutrition facts for Organ Therapy™?
Because these are whole food-based ingredients that we sourced for the purposes of blending in a nutritional supplement, they are exempt from nutritional labeling requirements.
We worked with the manufacturer closely on this issue. Even if we did do ingredient composition testing on each batch, it would likely vary from one to the next.
We do know that the beef bone broth concentrate is around 98% protein by weight (~1g) and the liver extract is un-defatted, contributing a negligible amount of dietary fat. The beef liver is un-defatted and specified to lose no more than 20% of fat content during the drying process.
The kidney and heart extracts are defatted.
Also, we tested for all heavy metals including mercury, lead, arsenic, and cadmium. All are under the established limits for safety.
This is not a direct label claim because mineral content could vary from batch to batch, but our manufacturer estimates that each 1,000 mg serving of bone broth powder contains about 11 mg of sodium (recommended dietary limit is around 3,400 mg per day, making this a negligible amount).
Give your body the primal nutrition it craves with Organ Therapy™.
